Season’s greetings! -2022

We had another good year with downhill skiing (with our season passes), golfing with friends, dinners and concerts, sausage making, relaxing soaks in our new hot tub and a few forays on the motorbike.  And we celebrated our 35th anniversary.  It was another dry year but very few forest fires.

We finally took a (twice-postponed) trip to Portugal (great roads and old posadas) and London (pubs, museums and opera), and a delightful week in Winnipeg (great food, architecture, museums and galleries).  Mizuho went to Japan for the first time in 3 years and had a joyful reunion with her mother, sister and all things Japanese. After patiently waiting some 30+ years, Mizuho finally has a new dining table (made from the entry door of the local MEC store).  Also completed some drawers in the closet and the closet door, a hanger for the guitars,  a bunch of landscaping  and made some progress on the long-awaited bedroom door (another recycled door from the MEC store).  The garden was bountiful and we have a freezer full of organic beef and lamb we purchased from neighbours.

Hope all is well with you and yours and that we have a chance to see each other somewhere sometime in 2023.
